This database was compiled and is elaborated by Barbara Flueckiger, professor at the Institute of Cinema Studies, University of Zurich, with support of the Institute for the Performing Arts and Film, Zurich University of the Arts. It is based on her research at Harvard University in the framework of her project Film History Re-mastered.
